Printers are a challenge from the standpoint that just about anything we charge is often more than the printer is worth. This puts both of us in a sensitive situation. Now the good news is that when printers stop printing, they can normally be corrected. And of course we both know that if you're calling us you have already tried the obvious things. So here's what we do:
If we can correct the problem online, then it is usually something in the software that went awry. For this we earned our $39.00 and we all go back to work.
If we come to you (On-Site Support) then we charge the $89.00.
PCS does not repair printers. At the cost of todays devices it is not cost effective or fair to you to even attempt to save a $100 printer. Whether we troubleshoot this online or show up and diagnose it our charges still apply. We will waive any additional charges though if purchase your new printer from us and we install it.
